Porthtowan Surf Life Saving Club, based on the north Cornish coast. Surf rowing and lifeguard training experts. Saving Lives Since 1955 Porthtowan Surf Life-Saving Club is based on the north coast of Cornwall, U.K. It lies between St. Ives and Newquay along with our neighbouring clubs; St. Agnes and Portreath.
PORTHTOWAN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB OPERATES ON THE NORTH CORNISH COAST TRAINING LIFEGUARDS IN THE SKILLS OF SAVING LIVES AT SEA. WE HAVE AN ACTIVE JUNIOR AND NIPPER SECTION, ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTAKE IN OUR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND EXCITING SERVICE. OUR SENIOR SECTION INCLUDES OUR SURF BOAT TEAMS WHICH ARE CONSISTENTLY THE BEST IN EUROPE.

Saving Lives since 1955 Saturdays at Porthtowan About Us Porthtowan Surf Life Saving Club Porthtowan Surf LifeSaving Club is based on the north coast of Cornwall U. K close to Redruth Mt Hawke and Truro. We were formed in April 1955 to provide volunteer beach patrols to stop people drowning in the surf. Our club exists to save life from the sea at Porthtowan and our primary aim is to train our members to become surf lifeguards using our extensive experience of our beach.
