The newly-established vegetable garden continues to do well with plenty of herbs, greens, potatoes, sweet potatoes, okra and aubergine being produced. In addition, a bumper crop of tomatoes has meant that some have been sun-dried for later use and even an excess of greens were picked, chopped and dried in the sun, meaning that packs of dehydrated greens can be provided for anti-poaching patrols. Supporting and protecting Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe The Hwange Conservation Society HCS was established as a charity in 1992 to help and support Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe the countrys largest National Park and home to many endangered species. We work closely with local organisations in Zimbabwe such as the Zimbabwe Parks Wildlife Management Authority Friends of Hwange the Bhejane Trust Wildlife Environment Zimbabwe and Save African Rhino Foundation of Australia. This web site will tell you about Hwange National Park and HCS what we do and why we do it.
