Governance and Staffing

DPI is overseen by a board of five trustees who do not receive remuneration for their service. The organisation engages a team of volunteers and employees; there are no employees reported to receive total benefits exceeding £60,000 annually. It operates without any trading subsidiaries.

In the financial year ending 31 December 2023, DPI reported a total income of £347,623 and total expenditure of £476,078, reflecting its active engagement and investment in its mission-driven activities.

Expertise and Advisory Support

The Institute benefits from the guidance of a Council of Experts comprising international specialists, including policy experts, academics, and human rights practitioners.
