From Singing to Saving the Bridge! Yesterday, our play began with a child singing “London Bridge is Falling Down” while building with bricks. Inspired, we headed outside and used big planks to create our very own London Bridge! The children worked together, carrying planks and carefully pushing them into place. We tested our creations—some were a little wobbly, so the children problem-solved by swapping the planks around until the bridge was stable. As they sang and walked proudly across their bridge, an emergency struck—FIRE! The firefighters quickly leapt into action, complete with their own fire engine and hoses. This role play was repeated many times, with the children showing teamwork, imagination, and problem-solving skills. We had so much fun 🔥🧯🚒 (fb)
