We are thrilled to announce the launch of Time Odyssey today! ​ ​ Time Odyssey uses cutting-edge tech and free travel grants to help all schools access unforgettable museum trips. Research shows that 60% of teachers missed out on taking their pupils to a museum last year. Time Odyssey is here to change that - breaking economic, geographic, and cultural barriers through a fun, digital learning adventure. ​ 🏛️ After a hugely successful pilot in 2024 where over 5,000 children took part in the programme, Time Odyssey is now available at: The Yorkshire Museum, Great North Museum: Hancock, Manchester Museum, South Shields Museum, and here at RAMM, with new museums joining the programme very soon! ​ ​ Let’s make museums accessible to every child, everywhere. Join the RAMM Community Panel! 🏛️ - Are you passionate about Exeter and its community? - Would you like to get involved in understanding how museums work? - Could your life experiences offer us new insights? - Do you have ideas on how to make museums welcoming for everyone? - Would you like the chance to influence the programme and activities of Exeter’s museum? In 2023 we launched a new Community Panel to give local people the opportunity to help shape the creative programme and wider activities at the museum. After a successful two years the current panel have reached the end of their term, so we’re on the hunt for 12 new recruits to form our new panel. No formal qualifications or experience are necessary, and we’re keen to hear from a wide range of people, from different backgrounds, who have a passion for culture and entertainment in their many forms.
