Well today we made the most of our indoor spaces and had lots of fun with cardboard boxes and laces… The simplest things have really captured the children today by ripping up cardboard boxes, poking holes in them and practicing some fine motor skills, colour recognition and pattern making by threading coloured laces to make patterns and rainbows. We have also had play dough and cutters, mark making and messy play with moon sand and even practiced writing our name. We have loved watching the raindrops on the windows, the leaves blowing in the wind. We have spent time in our movement room, sensory space, soft play and calming corners and had lots of fun and bubbles with our friends whilst learning new skills (fb)
