Seeking to help people in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world to overcome poverty and suffering. World in Need exists for ‘Practical Mission’. We help the poor and the hungry. Having experienced this expression of God’s love we then give these people the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus, to know Him as their Lord and Saviour. World in Need International is a Christian charity which aspires to see communities transformed by education and development. We believe that even the poorest communities can find hope and freedom when they are empowered to rise above their circumstances. Working to direct resources to where they are most needed, World in Need works in countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
