The UK’s new emergency alert system will send a loud siren, message, and vibration to every compatible phone even on silent. Survivors of abuse with hidden phones could be put at risk if the device is discovered. 💕Well Women Centre Leigh💕 September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, to educate, and to remind one another that every single life matters. Suicide does not discriminate. It touches families, friends, schools, and communities everywhere. Too often, it grows out of silence, stigma, and struggles that people feel they must carry alone. This month, we come together to break that silence. To remind each other that it’s okay to not be okay. To show that help is out there, that support is real, and that no one has to walk through their darkest moments alone. Each of us can be a light. A kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present can truly save a life. Let us use this month as a call to action—to speak up, to stand together, and to spread hope. (fb)
