Masjid Al Hikmah also known as Selwyn rd masjid is one of the oldest mosques in Newham and has been serving the community since 1974 The principal activities of the charity is to to advance education in Islamic and non-Islamic studies. It also aims to provide recreational facilities to the young and the elderly in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the condition of life for such persons. The Charity is based in the London Borough of Newham.
