Upcoming Events COVID 19 Response Resources OVER 56 YEARS SERVING THE COMMUNITY We are a notforprofit voluntary organisation and a registered charity serving the Hindu and Indian Community in Tameside and Greater Manchester since 1964. The charity provides many services and has taken part in numerous engagement projects over the years to help strengthen ties with the community the local authority and other voluntary groups. The Shree Ambaji Mandir Hindu temple is a religious place of worship thats open to the public daily. Through the community centre we celebrate various Hindu festivals and cultural events as well as provide services that meet the community needs such as below Council services including Hindi Gujarati translation Elderly Social Care GCSE Gujarati language learning on hold Youth Sports Recreation General Health Wellbeing School Liaison Services Bereavement Services Marriage Registration Opening of our Community Centre and Ambaji Temple Mandir It is now nearly two years since the Covid restrictions have been in place for all places of worship.
