Mountain Training is reviewing its suite of coaching qualifications, which includes Foundation Coach, Development Coach and Performance Coach. We want to hear from individuals and organisations about your involvement and views on climbing coaching as well as your experience and views on our qualifications. “It’s really important we hear from a wide range of climbing coaches directly so we can understand what they want and need, from skills and training to networking and feedback. Our qualifications exist to support quality climbing coaching and we’re looking forward to hearing from as many coaches as possible so we can ensure that continues to grow for many years to come.” Guy Jarvis, Strategic Lead for the review and Mountain Training England Executive Officer. There are two separate surveys supporting the review: One is for individuals who coach climbing, whether they hold qualifications or not, coach indoors or outdoors, we want to hear from the people making a big difference to climbers across the UK and Ireland.
