The Orchestra and Ensembles Spring Concert was (quite literally) music to our ears! A-S 3rd to 8th-grade instrumentalists graced the stage of the A-S Assembly Hall for their performance. The program featured performances from the 3rd-grade String and Flute Ensembles, the 4/5 String and Wind Ensembles, and the 6/7/8 Orchestra. The concert beautifully showcased the way each boy has grown as an individual musician, as well as strengthening their skills as part of an ensemble. The concert also marks the final instrumental performance for Ms. Demko, who is retiring at the end of this school year. Thank you, Ms. Demko, for all that you have done for our boys during your incredible 35 year career here at A-S. Welcome to the Help Desk—where the customer is always… frustrated. Last week, our 7th- and 8th-graders—along with their peers from The Nightingale Bamford School—brought Don Zolidis’ hilarious play to life on the A-S stage. These student-actors nailed their characters and brought the house down with this sharp, quick-witted story about the chaos of customer service. Behind the scenes, our incredible student tech team managed everything with precision to ensure two flawless performances.
