About the Choir Southampton Philharmonic Choir Reflection music for contemplation Southampton Philharmonic Choir returns to Turner Sims with the Southampton University Philharmonic Choir under the direction of David Gibson to transform the hall into a sanctuary of sound and offer a concert experience like no other. Titled Reflection this event promises to take the audience on a journey through some of the most evocative choral masterpieces of the 20th and 21st centuries. Back to baroque Tickets Southampton Philharmonic Choir Making Music Live in Southampton since 1860. One of the longestestablished and most respected choirs in Southern England we are a large choir performing choral music from the classical and contemporary repertoire with professional orchestras and soloists.
