The band had a wonderful time entertaining a lovely and large crowd on the bandstand in Keynsham last Sunday. As always it was great to get such warm and positive feedback to our fun programme which included: 🦕 Jurassic Park 🎙️Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder 🎥 Cadillac of the Skies (from Empire of the Sun) 🎹 Rocket Man by Elton John 😊 Oh, Happy Day 🇪🇬 Walk Like an Egyptian by The Bangles 🎨 Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones Not to mention some wonderful work by our soprano, tenor horn and cornet soloists. Menu See Us In Action. About us Founded in 1963 Weston Brass are a traditional amateur brass band with around 28 regular and enthusiastic players from all walks of life. Brass is our passion and youll find us putting on concerts across the South West and taking part in several contests a year with other bands from around the country. We meet for rehearsals twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 8pm 10pm at our band room situated in the village of Congresbury just 10 minutes from J21 of the M5.
