Today we celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Founder of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, Frédéric was a man of faith, vision, and compassion who believed in putting love into action. His words still inspire us today: “Charity is the Samaritan who pours oil on the wounds of the traveller who has been attacked. It is justice’s role to prevent the attack.” As we honour his legacy, we continue his mission of serving those in need across England and Wales - offering friendship, practical help, and hope to anyone facing hardship or isolation.
