Just weeks ago, this young person couldn’t speak to us. Anxious and overwhelmed, he kept his distance - especially from our youth support workers. But last week, something changed. Sitting by the campfire with Izzie, he cooked his favourite sausages. He looked at and spoke to her for the first time, whilst toasting a marshmallow! It may sound like a small moment, but it was a big breakthrough. Because when young people are given safe spaces, time, and trust, progress happens.
