This year, your efforts will support our Parent Facilities Appeal at Leicester Children’s Hospital — creating private, comforting spaces for families with children in intensive care. “If anyone is planning on doing the abseiling, then please go for it. Well done to everyone who took part in The Brown Dog Charnwood Forest Challenge today, 7th June! We’re incredibly proud to have had 9 amazing staff from our UHL Head & Neck team take part in this scenic and inspiring walk – all in support Brown Dog's cause. This year, Brown Dog Cancer Charity are raising funds to help purchase a Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy Probe for our hospitals – a piece of equipment that will aid cancer care for patients with oral and skin cancers. The probe will allow for earlier, more accurate diagnosis and treatment, helping avoid invasive surgeries and significantly improving patient outcomes. Together, we're aiming to raise £30,000 – and every step taken in Charnwood Forest brings us closer to making great things happen for patients.
