We wanted to give a special shoutout and THANK YOU to Cheryl Sheffield, who swam an epic 2km in open water at the Rutland Water swim to raise funds for the HELP Appeal! Cheryl has been a driving instructor with Access Driving Tuition for 24 years and after attending a local instructors' meeting and hearing about our work to fund 40 more hospital helipads, she felt inspired to take on a challenge. She says: "It was totally enjoyable, loved the challenge and a great atmosphere. Was tough in places, fairly good waves due to the wind on the first bit. Then lots of weed in a couple of places, was like swimming through soup! A good work out, for a great charity. Feeling a sense of achievement and £830 in total, raised for the Help Appeal - County Air Ambulance Trust. Would I do it all again, well may be not in the next week, but yes quite possibly!"
