British Wheelchair Bowls Association (BWBA)

The BWBA is recognised as the governing body for wheelchair bowls in the UK. It is available to help bowlers, clubs, and associations. The aims of the association are:- Integration, Advice, Training, Competition and Coaching.We are here to assist wheelchair users to get the most out of the sport, whether they are just starting out or are experienced bowlers. We help our members to become fully integrated into local clubs playing league matches, club matches and competitions. Several training weekends are run at Stoke Mandeville

Two News Updates from the BWBA The BWBA has launched a significant scheme to help individual bowlers who need a specialist bowls wheelchair to play the sport they love. This scheme will provide up to 50 of the cost of a bowls wheelchair. This is an unprecedented offer from the BWBA who have been supporting and helping wheelchair bowlers for forty years. Applicants will need to complete a simple form which can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
