In celebration of Volunteers' Week, it seems only fitting that our Thank you Thursday is reserved for such a fantastic group of dedicated people... our volunteers! We're fortunate enough to be supported by a wonderful group of volunteers who carry out a range of roles. In the last year they've helped throw paint at our Colour Run, supported fundraising activities like teddy tombolas, showcased our work at our corporate dinner and wrapped Christmas gifts for those staying in our hospitals, to name just a few. Our volunteers are incredibly valued by us and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who dedicates their time to Hampshire Hospitals Charity. Supporting a happier healthier Hampshire Elevating hospital healthcare for the benefit and wellbeing of our Hampshire community. What we do Thanks to you we are playing a key role in enhancing the wellbeing of and support for NHS staff patients and volunteers at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We fundraise throughout the year to ensure that we can provide increased care and support for those who go above and beyond what the NHS can deliver including better outdoor and rest spaces equipment and enhancing the environment and experience for everyone in our hospitals. The impact we make During the pandemic the sensory room at Basingstoke North Hampshire Hospital closed and remained closed for over three years.
