But the stats don’t lie... 📣6 in 10 girls tell us they love sport 📈 6 in 10 say they want to do more sport ♎ 8 in 10 say women and men’s sport should be supported equally Given the right opportunities, girls can thrive in sport and get just as much joy, excitement and happiness from sport as boys. And yet girls are still less active than boys in England today. They’re more likely than boys to worry that they won’t be good enough and more likely to fear being judged.
