*FUNDING KITCHEN!* Tuesday 6th, 10-12pm, at Circus Eruption's building* If you're responsible for fundraising in a nonprofit in or around Swansea, this is a peer group for you. We share info and collaborate, commiserate, celebrate... it's a tough time all round, but armed with a cuppa and some (sometimes decent) biscuits, we support one another, share ideas and remember we're not alone. This time, as well as the usual catchups and shared info, we've asked Matt from Swansea Council for Voluntary Service to give us the heads up on the Fundraising Regulator (you definitely need to know!), and Karen Chalk from CIRCUS ERUPTION will mention the recently refreshed Welsh Gov code of practice. This is NOT a funded thing, it's an occasional gathering (aim for quarterly but you know), with Circus Eruption vaguely in the middle. Locations move and have included the Swansea Community Farm, Red Community Project, Swansea Council for Voluntary Service, Faith In Families Swansea * Circus Eruption Building directions etc - 92a Stepney Street (former St Luke's Church), Cwmbwrla, Swansea SA5 8BD. The building is fully accessible. Entrance - through gate, up ramp, follow path round towards the back; follow the yellow light string! Bus routes: 25, 28, or 36 get you quite local, and 110 /111 drop you at the Gatehouse on Middle Road (closest!). Bikes welcome indoors. Parking: on street; usually spaces on Stepney Street, Lynn Street, Fern St. Please park legally and avoid residents bays.
