There are over 75 unique museums waiting to be discovered in Devon. From local history, people & places to steam trains & shipwrecks & much more in between. There’s something for everyone in Devon's museums and galleries, from steam trains to shipwrecks, The day to day running of a heritage centre (normally open to the public four days a week from around Easter until the end of October). This includes an exhibition area and research facilities.

The official gateway to Devon museums Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre The small museum with a big heart. Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre is situated off the A382 in the old railway station building which was in use on the branch line to Moretonhampstead for nearly 100 years. Whether you are interested in family history local pottery the history of mining and quarrying in the area following the route of the old railway or just browsing through our archive photographs there is something for everyone at the Heritage Centre. Activity desk for young visitors.
