Surgeries will take place at our veterinary hospitals in Harrisonburg and Manassas, VA. Eligibility Requirements: You must reside in one of the following areas and be able to provide proof of residency: Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Manassas, Manassas Park, Prince William County. In late March, Teddy's family began noticing some troubling urinary issues. Concerned, they rushed him to the ER, where the veterinarian confirmed that Teddy was unable to urinate on his own, a serious and urgent condition. To ensure Teddy could live a happy, healthy life, the veterinary team recommended a PU (Perineal Urethrostomy) surgery. While the name may sound intimidating, the goal of the procedure is simple yet vital: it widens the urethra to prevent future blockages, improve urinary flow, and relieve discomfort. Teddy's mom shared, "This was such a difficult time for our family. We adopted Teddy in the early days of the pandemic and brought him home with his littermate, who sadly passed away just months later from FIP.
