Fantastic to join Wardle squirrels, beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers, leaders and parents together on a 500 mile sponsored challenge. Young people set off from two points and met at the end of their walk for the last 400 metres. Cubs and scouts met at the White House and walked the 10km to meet beavers and squirrels on their walk around Withens Clough Reservoir. Thank you to all of Smithy Bridge cubs too for joining us. 🌍 500 Mile Challenge 🌍 Members of Wardle Scout Group and Smithy Bridge Scout Group will be taking to the hills next weekend to raise funds for upcoming international trips. We’ll be attempting to complete 500 miles between us - the distance from Manchester to Paris!
