On the eve of 29 May, 1892, eight hours after sunset, Bahá’u’lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, passed away in the Mansion of Bahjí. His mission was to spiritually re-awaken humanity and unite all the peoples of the world. “In His successive exiles from country to country up to the time of His ascension from this world, He was enabled to promulgate His teachings, even from prison.
