As part of their Civic Society Next Generation Award Project, a team of Year 8 students from St George’s has put together a range of events to build community relationships in Edgbaston, whilst raising money for their community charity (and neighbours) Edward's Trust. 💙🪁💙 This Friday 27 June they will be having several activities in aid of ET, including a non-uniform day, their Walk, Talk, Support event, a doughnut and samosa sale, and the raffle of some incredible prizes! A few days ago we had a cheque presentation from Rich Wolfindale who you might remember earlier this month we celebrated and thanked for running the Sutton Fun Run on Sunday 1st June in aid of Edward’s Trust in loving memory of Victoria. Since then, his total grew to an astonishing £1,300 raised to support bereaved families! Preparing for the race, Rich wrote: “I’ve decided to run for a charity that has helped myself and my kids a huge amount in the last few years: Edward’s Trust. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
