May is toiletries month for Shoeboxes. We love this handmade purse that holds a bar of soap. After the soap is used up, then they have the second gift of a cute purse to store other items in. I have just spent a few days with our Future Changed Team in Iasi, Romania. We run a kindergarten, homework club and parents school there amongst the very poorest families that live nearby. I was able to meet the team and the children that love coming to the project - a highlight in their day. While supporting the childrens education, we also support the families they come from with food parcels and other items and I was able to help give some of these out. A Christian Charity Rebuilding Lives Communities in Eastern Europe through Education and Social Care OUR VISION Link to Hopes is a Christian charity and its aim is to combat poverty give humanitarian aid and have special concern for the most disadvantaged. The poorest especially people struggling to survive in poor villages that lack basic amenities that we take for granted Most vulnerable especially children and the most marginalised groups in a community Most exploited the families and individuals who are at the mercy of authorities and circumstances that they have no control over. Link to Hopes vision is that one day every person in Eastern Europe will have a safe environment to live in and access to basic healthcare human rights employment and education. OUR MISSION Link to Hopes is working towards its vision by supporting two particular areas of need Education and Social Care.
