Rosemary beetle #chrysolinaamericana is active all year round, and not killed by harsh winters. There is a grey larvae stage, which is more difficult to spot, but these both weaken herbs, especially #rosemary #lavender #sage #stjohnswort #thyme and others. Be vigilant, checking herbs regularly and remove them as birds etc don't eat them and now they have become a real threat to Herbs in the UK.
