🌸 It's time for an Easter Roundup! 🌸 Across the country, TLG Make Lunch clubs were buzzing with Easter crafts, exciting egg hunts, and the joy of making chocolate nests. And thanks to generous donations, many clubs were able to ensure every child (and adult!) left with an Easter egg in hand and a smile on their face. One grateful guest shared, “Make Lunch has been perfect for entertaining and feeding the family without costs while times are really hard.” At one of our clubs, a delicious feast of jollof rice, Caribbean chicken, and sweet plantain was lovingly prepared by one of their amazing Nigerian families. 🥘 Elsewhere a group of samba drummers brought the rhythm and beats to their local club. Two children who had never joined in before stepped up to direct the drumming, stealing the show! 🥁 One parent summed it up perfectly: “Every experience at Make Lunch is happy. It’s like our extended family at the church.” 💙 A massive thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who brought community, belonging and meals that matter to children and families all across the UK this Easter! ⭐ (fb)
