Radio Sunderland for Hospitals Welcome Welcome Broadcasting For Over 70 Years Located in the City of Sunderland in Tyne and Wear RadioSunderland for Hospitals is a registered charity staffedentirely by volunteers. Established in 1953 we provide a free personal hospitalradio service to the bedside of patients in the Sunderland Royal Hospital. We broadcast our programmes of music news and information direct tothe patients 24 hours aday on the hospital network via bedside media units. The programmes are alsoavailable via our online stream using the hospital WiFi.
