The charity based at the neonatal unit at St George's Hospital in Tooting, London, supporting the unit's sick and premature babies, families & nursing staff First Touch is concerned with the relief, care and treatment of premature and sick new babies in the neonatal unit at St George Hospital, by providing and assisting in the provision of specialist equipment and improved amenities and facilities, and to support and assist the families of such babies who are or who have been on the unit.

Many of the babies we care for have been born prematurely with some mothers having only just reached 24 weeks of pregnancy 40 weeks is generally considered normal. Some babies require life saving surgery. We want these babies to grow up to be healthy happy children with bright futures.
