Our lovely team from our Prison Family Hub were delighted to join the St Paul’s Church Fête on Saturday and celebrate our growing partnership with a community that truly champions the work we do at HMP Winchester. St Paul’s Church has been a vital supporter of the Spurgeons Prison Family Hub, generously donating funds to help us continue providing essential support to children and families affected by having a parent in prison. We’re also excited to begin working with them to train volunteers in offering pastoral support during our Family Days and 'Time to Connect' sessions. While at the fête, we had the pleasure of meeting our local Dr Danny Chambers MP and his partner Emma Taylor. They were both incredibly engaged and interested in hearing more about our upcoming arts project for prisoners, led in collaboration with Bear Face Theatre and the Hampshire High Sheriff, Sue Elton.
