The true number is likely even higher. At West Mercia Women’s Aid, we remain committed to ensuring these statistics—and the lived experiences behind them—are never forgotten. In the ninth story of our One in Twelve series, Hayley shares: “I have joined a group of other women and we share our experiences – until you do that, you can feel like you are the only one that this is happening to.
