A Saturday to remember at Gloucestershire Academy of Music 👑 Last Saturday was truly a milestone in our journey as we welcomed HRH The Duchess of Gloucester to GAM to celebrate the much anticipated purchase of Barbican House. The Duchess enjoyed performances from our String Starters, and from our Junior Singing & Rhythm Group, ChorusLine! Singers, Intermediate Orchestra and the wonderful Gloucester Dementia Choir. It was amazing to see groups of all ages and talents come together through music. The Duchess' visit was not only a recognition of what we've achieved, but a reminder of the powerful role music plays in bringing people together.
