THE CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY OF THE MOTHER OF GOD Announces the ordination of our beloved George Tsiappourdhi as a deacon and priest. The ordination services will take place on the 20th, respectively 21st of April at the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and Saint Luke, in Birmingham. For those who would like to attend the program will be as follows: Saturday 20th April - Diaconate ordination by His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain - Matins 9:00 am followed by the Liturgy Sunday 21st April - Ordination into priesthood by His Grace Bishop Maximos of Melitene - Matins 8:30 am followed by the Liturgy We thank God for all his love and grace and pray that he may send his blessings upon George and his family on their journey ahead. Dear Parishoners Our new priest in Charge Father Samuel, will be starting a Bible Class this Friday 8th March 7.30pm in the church . All who desire to know more about Orthodox Christianity are welcome whether they are Orthodox Christians or not or not sure what they believe. Come and see.
