PDA Model for Child Protection: A Socioemotional Framework for Prevention, Detection, and Action 16th May 2025 In the words of Monica, a social worker from Spain , " PDA Model allows to organise different levels of community action and structure programmes according to objectives of prevention, awareness, detection & intervention." We are deeply grateful to one of our partner organisations Ama Nepal and Monica, who conducted this discussion with the team of Asha and helped us to reflect on both our inner and outer worlds. More importantly, the major takeaway from the discussion was to see and feel ourselves, look into our motivation despite the challenges and fear how we keep pushing ourselves ahead and the impacts we have been making in the lives of people. The Prevention, Detection and Intervention model emphasised setting our working vision and purpose. Monica's healing energy, enthusiasm and approach to working as a social worker have had a deeper impact on our mindsets. (fb)
