We're so proud that Bishop Sarah, our Bishop of London has been appointed the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury. She was installed as Bishop of London in 2018 - the first woman in to be appointed to the office, as well as Dean of the Chapels Royal, and she makes yet more history today as the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury. On the appointment, our Dean, Andrew Tremlett shares this message: 'Here at St Paul’s, where Bishop Sarah has her episcopal stall – her ‘cathedra’ – we are immensely proud to receive this news, as she will be such a gift to the wider nation.'
