Exciting times at Hersham Youth Club in Arch Road ! The out-dated kitchen has now been refurbished with a new cooker, hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, sinks and work surfaces, and it looks very smart. Our huge thanks go to John O'Reilly, County Councillor for Hersham, for securing the funding from SCC's Your Fund Surrey to pay for this. The Youth Club is not only used by the young people who come to the club during the week, but also by the pre-school and after-school clubs and the playgroup who are there every day of the week, so the new facilities will be enjoyed by so many. Hopefully, with the new kitchen facilities, the Youth Club will now be able to resume the “cook-in” sessions and the young people can drop in to enjoy a good meal - watch out for future updates on this.
