🌟 Feel good Friday fundraiser! 🌟 "As father of a young daughter, I've been so moved and inspired by Football legend Graeme Souness following his 2023 swim across the Channel and his upcoming challenge. This year is my 50th birthday and I've decided to challenge my aging body to five difficult sporting events throughout the year. This includes the London T100 Triathlon which I have never done before and consists of a 0.75km swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run all in one event. The four other events include three 10km and the Great North Run Half Marathon in September. I love a challenge! Having been made aware and educated about EB through Isla's story, I'm determined to complete my 50 challenge. In doing so, I hope to raise awareness of the condition and help support DEBRA to fund the treatments those with EB so desperately need. No matter how big or small a challenge, I find a huge sense of gratification in raising awareness and funds, and at the same time challenging yourself to do something that you never thought possible."
