This morning our staff took part in a Lightning Talk all about Makaton, learning new signs to help support children’s communication across the school. Makaton is just one of the communication strategies we use at Cliffdale. It uses signs, symbols, and speech to make language more accessible and inclusive 😄 To see Makaton in action, here’s a lovely video of Theodore from 🐬 Dolphin Class, who has been working so hard to learn and use new signs to support his speech! 🌟 (fb)
