Salford Women’s Aid is the key regional charity to the UK's national Women’s Aid charity. Working to end domestic violence against women and children. Salford Women’s Aid is a key local branch of the national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. SWA's objective and principle activity centres on the provision of temporary accommodation for women and children escaping domestic abuse. This is achieved operationally via the two refuges one of which has disabled access and both have dedicated play areas for the children. In total there are 14 bedrooms across the two sites. Families have there own bedrooms but share all the other facilities.
