Rudyard Sailability

Rudyard Sailability is a UK nonprofit organisation dedicated to enabling children and adults with disabilities to participate in sailing and water-based activities. In 2007, Rudyard Sailability became a recognised RYA Training Centre and was designated as the first National Centre for Excellence and Education by the RYA. An initial planning application to improve the boathouse was rejected, which led to the existing boathouse needing to be demolished by order of the local council. Undeterred, the charity embarked on a new project to build a fully accessible boathouse to support its activities.
