Essex Search and Rescue – Assisting the Police searching for vulnerable missing people
To assist in the relief of suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accident or natural hazards in lowland areas, primarily in the County of Essex. This is achieved in particular by providing adequete arrangements for the secure and efficient search for and rescue of any person or persons so endangered, by trained personnel.

2023 Stats We are the Essex Search and Rescue team. Assisting the Police searching for vulnerable missing people such as young children and those with dementia. Specialist search teams are looking for a missing person How often do you hear that phrase on the local news. If you think that search rescue is confined to the sea or mountainous areas then you are mistaken.
