"I joined Yeovil Free Wheelers to support their blood bike charity. To ride for them, I needed my advanced qualification — so I joined SAM." How was the training? "My observer Rob made me feel welcome right from the start. Over a few months, I built the skills I needed to pass." Biggest thing you learned? "Using the System properly — IPSGA ties everything together. It’s made my riding smoother, safer, and more controlled." How was test day? "A bit nerve-wracking at first! But the examiner was great and made me feel very at ease and relaxed, and hearing I'd passed was a massive relief." Any advice for others? "You’ll become a safer, more confident rider — give it a go!"
