But it's also important to remember that some traditions can cause discomfort to autistic individuals, such as: 👚 Wearing clothes that feel different, unfamiliar or uncomfortable 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Feeling pressured to talk to strangers as part of trick-or-treating 🚨 Experiencing loud or bright decorations that can cause sensory overload It's okay if some opt not to mark this occasion in the same way, or even at all.
