🚨MILESTONE REACHED🚨 We cant quite believe we are saying this, but we have recently admitted our 80,000th casualty! The individual in question - a rather unassuming Heron, who was found outside an individuals house, underweight and seemingly struggling to fly. This is just one of - now over - 80,000 stories we have been a part of. Just one of the stories of the casualties in our care at the minute. From humble beginnings and a dream of Trevor Weeks to provide a service to the wildlife of East Sussex, we think the growth of WRAS and reaching 80,000 admissions is something pretty special (we know we are biased!)🎉 Next stop - 100,000... Caring for Wildlife One Rescue at a Time Emergency Wildlife Rescue Wildlife Care Guidance Support us or Get involved East Sussex Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service WRAS and its founder have been committed to wildlife wellbeing since 1985. Our mission is to provide a frontline rescue service for wildlife casualties who unlike their domestic counterparts often have no one else to turn to. We work closely with other animal welfare organizations across the South and around the country to ensure that every animal gets the care and attention it deserves. Each year we manage approximately 20000 phone calls from individuals in need of assistance with casualties seeking guidance making donations and more.
