EEF primarily provides scholarships for secondary education (Grades 9-12) to academically promising children from throughout Ethiopia. The foundation operates a structured four-year program in which scholarship recipients reside at the EEF Hostel. Here, students receive accommodation, food, clothing, and academic support in a safe and nurturing environment. This setup enables students to focus entirely on their studies and personal development.

Through this approach, EEF has successfully nurtured numerous students to reach their full academic potential, leading many to enter university and professional careers. Among the notable outcomes of the program are the graduation of 19 medical doctors and over 50 engineers from early cohorts, demonstrating the foundation’s impactful role in shaping Ethiopia’s future professionals.
