9 June: Raising awareness of Transverse Myelitis (TM) and related conditions - a rare neurological disorder which can affect anyone at any time. The Transverse Myelitis Society provides information and support to over 2000 TM sufferers, carers and families in UK. The TMS also supports people with other rare auto-immune neurological conditions eg ADEM and NMO. TM support groups are active throughout UK www.myelitis.org.uk
