Learners at Red Balloon Worthing celebrated Nature Week earlier this month. Learners always benefit from getting outside and being near the beach. Local parks gives them the perfect location to make the most of the nature around them! Sessions have consisted of art that uses nature, including observational drawings of beach finds. Walks to the park, using the gym equipment there, and paying attention to the changing seasons within the trees and fallen leaves. Learners also found ways to entertain themselves, such as "The crunchiest leaf" competition, whereby leaf crunches when stood on were rated out of 10. (fb)
